Many choose a business based purely on the expected financial returns from such business niche. However, money or profits should not be the only consideration when choosing a business that you may be involved in for the rest of your life.
One important consideration when choosing a lifetime business is whether it suits your personality, character, disposition, preferences and way of life.
Consider whether such a business offers you the opportunity to do the things you enjoy doing. Will such a business make you feel good about yourself? Will such a business bring you close to the calibre of people you love to meet? Will such a business bring you the level of livelihood you desire for yourself and loved ones?
Do not rush into a business simply because someone you know got rich in it. Do not get into a business just because another is doing well in it. Do not rush into a business simply because your parents want you to. Don't go into a business just to impress others and satisfy your ego.
The key to success in any business, career or profession is being able to enjoy what you do. Therefore take your time to choose your business, just as you would choose a hat or pair of shoes. And here, the one primary consideration is, does it fit?
A key requirement for a rich and successful life is to channel your life-energies into activities you love. Therefore choose your business based on the things you love to do, the people you love to be with, and the surroundings that give you the most joy. These factors combined will bring out the best of you.
It must feel great making money while doing the things you love to do. It must feel good enjoying yourself while making money! What better motivation can there ever be than doing what you love and getting paid for it?
When you create wealth in the course of doing what you love, you are mentally and emotionally empowered to be the best you can ever be. Such wonderful advantage, when properly utilised, opens the door to great fame and fortune.
Start by recalling your childhood dreams, interests, talents and abilities. Could they be pointers to full-fledged business ventures? Don't ignore or bury them. They could point the way to your Mount Everest!
You can become rich by adapting your interests, talents and abilities towards providing products or services that people want and are ready to pay for. That could be your stepping stone to Fame and Fortune in business.
