We live in the information and technology age. Today, with the internet, you can access whatever knowledge or information you need from the comfort of your home, office or on the go.

Technology solves problems and makes life easy for humanity. How much of these great innovations come from Africa, by Africans and for Africans? Or are we just voluptuous consumers?

Africa is peculiar. Africans have peculiar needs. Africans are thus best placed to solve African problems because they know Africa and its peculiarities, environment, people and needs. Does it not bother you that:

Africa has lots of natural resources yet her people are poor?
Africa has lots of sunshine but little solar powered electricity supply?
Africa has many rivers and water bodies yet portable water is a luxury?
Africa has fertile soils and suitable climate, yet famine and starvation ravage her children?
Africa grows a lot of natural foods but much of it goes to waste for lack of proper storage?
Africa has the population (potential markets) yet many African countries manufacture nothing and import everything?

Oh Africa, my Africa! Wake up! Problems are known to be the genesis of many a great Business or Enterprise. We should not run away from them!

Governments, politicians, scientists, investors and business men in Afrika owe us a duty to come up with innovative ideas, products and technologies to alleviate and reverse the perennial problems and suffering in Africa. That way, they add Value to the people, create employment and boost stake-holders bottom-line.  A desirable and win - win outcome. Africa must arise!
